THINK FOR YOURSELF

Independent Thinking relies on Self-Confidence.
It's the ability to challenge a group viewpoint rather than passively accept the status quo.

It has less to do with your Inteligence but more to do with your Authenticity (i.e., being in touch with what one truly thinks and feels).

Far from just leading to more stimulating conversations, thinking for yourself enables you to challenge assumptions that others may have and it also means you no longer have to feel overwhelmed by people in power, or to assume that those in authority are right.

Society needs our Ideas
(and Ideals).
Throughout history, Self-Belief has been the bedrock of independent thought. Society needs to have its Free-Thinkers who look hard at their own thought process.
And unless you think for yourself you are just as enlightened as the society you live in.

Your capacity to speak up your own mind depends on your willingness to stand alone and risk inevitable conflict - without any fears of rejection or of social prejudice.
